My Approach to Music Training

"As an educator, it is my responsibility to guide, teach, mentor, and share. I provide a supportive environment for individuals willing to learn, which creates the foundation for musical understanding, and allows students to blossom into their own expression.
Musical expression is part of human lineage. Through my musical practice, I continue the sharing of this cultural history that is beautiful, enriching, and fundamental to human expression.
I use a person's natural curiosity and desire to discover as a motivational guide through their musical training. I encourage this passion for learning and reaching a personal understanding of music."
A message to parents of younger students:
In this day and age of instant gratification, it is becoming increasingly difficult to capture and maintain long attention spans. My methods of teaching keep students engaged at all times, while constantly monitoring their interest levels. When I find the attention of younger minds drift, I readily adapt the lesson in order to re-capture and engage them, maintaining a focused and streamlined lesson.
My approach is efficient, providing tangible daily goals tailored to the student's pace.
